Overview

Position: Quality Engineer Co-op

Location: Seneca Falls, NY

Academic Schedule: May to August 2025 (full-time, 40 hours per week)

About the experience: The Quality Engineer Co-op provides support and backup to the Quality Department, works with Quality Managers and Engineers to assist on special projects, aimed at maintaining quality assurance programs and quality systems.  Provides technical review of documentation to assure compliance with customer documents (P.O.s, specs, etc.) and standards. 

• Create and organize quality inspection plans for machine parts with the guidance of quality engineering
• Create Procedures and standard work for creating and utilzing the control plans
• Assists Process Audits determine root causes and proper corrective actions
• Assists Internal Quality System Audits
• Reviewing and Updating Quality System Documentation
• Assist mapping Quality Management System

• Student must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering
• Basic blueprint reading required
• Auditing knowledge is required
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have basic experience in MS PowerPoint and Excel
