Position Description:
The Regional Irrigation Manager will oversee irrigation operations across multiple branches and teams servicing commercial properties in the Maryland and Washington, DC area. This leadership role is responsible for the performance, training, and development of Irrigation Managers and their teams within the region. The ideal candidate will provide strategic guidance, drive regional consistency in service delivery, and ensure operational excellence at scale.

Pay Range: $90-100k, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support multiple branch-level Irrigation Managers, Production Managers, and Technicians across the region, ensuring consistent high-quality service and execution
  • Develop and implement regional irrigation strategies, systems, and best practices
  • Coordinate resources (materials, personnel, equipment, subcontractors) across branches to meet customer and operational demands
  • Provide regular coaching and training to branch teams on irrigation standards, safety, and technology
  • Monitor service quality, crew performance, and production metrics across all locations
  • Conduct site visits, perform audits, and support complex repairs and troubleshooting efforts
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including repair proposals and service documentation from all branches
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and upselling irrigation enhancements
  • Collaborate with Branch Managers to support staffing, recruiting, and career development for irrigation personnel
  • Serve as a regional liaison between field teams and company leadership on irrigation-specific initiatives
  • Support branches with hands-on field work as needed, especially during high-demand seasons

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial irrigation systems, including team leadership and multi-site oversight
  • Proven ability to lead managers and crews in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation system components, installation, diagnostics, and repair
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with laptops, tablets, and service tracking applications
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Northern VA, DC, and MD as part of the role
