We're hiring a Credit Risk Portfolio Analytics Officer to join our Credit Risk Team.
Involvement in the preparation and analysis of existing, and the development of new monthly, quarterly, and annual credit portfolio risk analytic reports, with a focus on Commercial Real Estate.
Participate in expanding the depth and breadth the analysis, monitoring, and reporting of credit risk beyond just commercial credit, to identify new areas of credit risk exposure, and increased risk analysis granularity and insights into all facets of credit risk across Univest’s entire platform.
Active involvement with ongoing data integrity initiatives, involving data capture from front end sources, identifying data necessary for the purpose of credit portfolio stress test reporting, scenario analysis, policy limit establishment recommendations, and identifying data needed for additional credit product/sector risk concentrations, granularity, and trends.
Establish, grow, and maintain strong banking, vendor, and regulatory contacts within the industry to be connected and aware of applicable current industry issues and practices in risk management.
Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of ten to fifteen years of experience in commercial underwriting, commercial lending, statistical analysis or financial risk modeling, with extensive knowledge of the commercial credit process recommended.
Excellent analytical, communications, presentation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work on cross functional teams and tasks across departments and reporting structures to accomplish corporate objectives.
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications and analytical software applicable to credit and risk analysis, with an understanding of data management, mining, and accuracy principles.
Wage Range:
The salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000
