?? Job Summary

Quickparts is seeking a proactive Hands-On Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role combines traditional procurement responsibilities with direct purchasing functions, ensuring the efficient sourcing of materials, goods, and services. The ideal candidate will be skilled in negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimization while collaborating closely with the supply chain team to align procurement activities with operational needs.

?? Key Responsibilities

Buying & Purchasing Execution

  • Act as a buyer, directly handling purchasing functions for assigned categories.
  • Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods/services.
  • Work with internal teams to determine purchasing needs and specifications.

Vendor Management & Negotiation

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors to optimize costs.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable sourcing.

Strategic Procurement & Compliance

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-effective purchasing options.
  • Work closely with the supply chain team, providing procurement support while they monitor supplier performance and enforce KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting procurement expenses.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, buying, or vendor negotiations.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
