We are looking for an SME in Pickup & Delivery process optimization with our "Central Operations Last Mile" team.
This role is pivotal in developing innovative strategies and implementing best practices that drive reliability, affordability, and sustainability in our last mile operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the creation and implementation of standardized processes for pickup and delivery (PUD) operations across all the distribution centers.
Analyze current PUD processes and identify opportunities for improvement, focusing on tour design and route optimization to enhance productivity and service quality.
Establish and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to effectively measure the productivity and service quality of pickup and delivery processes.
Develop standardized processes for managing subcontractors, assisting countries in creating efficient payment schemes and evaluation dashboards focused on service quality and productivity.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of new technologies and processes.
Develop and implement last mile decarbonization strategies in collaboration with country teams, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals.
Job Requirements:
At least 8+ years’ experience in last mile operations, process design, and optimization, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and independent work approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage conflicts effectively.
Business acumen with a strong focus on process and solution orientation.
Intercultural sensitivity and the ability to engage with diverse teams across different regions.
Certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or First Choice Master Bronze are a plus.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams; experience with Visio and MS Project is advantageous.
Willingness to travel up to 30% to support operations and initiatives globally.
