Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off (12 hrs shifts )

Start Times: Early start Btw 5:00AM -8:00 AM

Looking for an experienced Transport Shift Manger to work in a multichamber warehouse in the Transport division.

• To directly assist Operational Management by managing and generating the shipping requirements for distribution routes, from warehouse to end-user, maintaining precise and up-to-date performance reports for your deasignated shift
• To manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames while always maintaining standards of excellence
• To track and trace shipping orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that all legislation and records are maintained and kept at optimum level
• To monitor recruitment levels and initiate staff training as required, keeping up-to-date records in-line with company policies

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous and practical experience in Transport and people management
• Comprehensive knowledge in team's wellbeing, performance and motivation through regular performance dialogues
• Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage, organise and train direct reports
• KNowldge in Transport legal compliance
• • Transport Certificate of Professional Competence (Desirable)
