Purpose:

This position is the first level of contact between the customer and Zeon Chemicals LP. This includes order placement, product availability, pricing, order status, requests, chemical samples, literature, and general account information.

 

 

Job Functions/Accountabilities:

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process new orders, analyze and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Analyze and process customer requests and complaints via the Customer Response System.
  • Review open orders daily and take appropriate action.
  • Provide product assistance by directing technical questions to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain and update customer account information.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve the performance of our facility's operation and ensures that customers' (both internal and external) needs are met. 
  • Adhere to the quality system.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sales Representatives with customer-related requests.
  • Assist in the training of new or current CSRs in relation to account and customer service responsibilities.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Service in a fast-paced technical environment
  • SAP experience is a plus 

 

Special Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Strong organizational skills are essential. 
  • Knowledge of windows-based software and Network or PC-based order entry experience is required.
