The Challenge

Critical decisions are made every single day in aligning our military forces for the future operating environment. The Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) delivers intelligence to inform policy makers, the force development enterprise, and warfighters to enable success in the current and future operating environment. What if you could use your expertise in Biometrics and Identity Intelligence (I2) to support these critical efforts?

As an Identity Intelligence Analyst with JCTM, you will provide advanced analysis on a full spectrum of biometric and identity attributes to identify and assess persons of interest and threat networks. You will work across intelligence disciplines to interpret human characteristics such as fingerprints, DNA, iris scans, voiceprints, facial recognition, and behavior to uncover insights about adversarial capabilities and inform strategic decisions. You will also contribute to the development of doctrine, strategy, and policy that shapes the future of I2 across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE).

Build Your Career

At JCTM, we know the power of knowledge and experience combined with integrity. When you join JCTM, you are joining a team that empowers their people, does what is right, and believes that every JCTMer has a role in helping manage our culture.

Challenging Projects

As a member of our Identity Intelligence team, you will contribute directly to U.S. Marine Corps and Joint Force operations by identifying and characterizing threats using advanced biometric and contextual intelligence. You will engage in cross-functional collaboration with analysts and decision-makers throughout the Intelligence Community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze identity attributes (biographic, biometric, behavioral, contextual, and reputational) to track and assess individuals and networks.
  • Conduct biometric systems analysis to evaluate capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities of adversarial and allied technologies.
  • Fuse intelligence from diverse sources to create actionable insights about targets’ intentions, objectives, and activities.
  • Support the drafting and coordination of I2 doctrine and policy across DoD entities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to acquisition and operational planning teams.
  • Contribute to enterprise-level strategic intelligence assessments to inform leadership at the highest levels.

State-of-the-Art Technology

You will broaden your capabilities while working directly in support of the DoD, leveraging cutting-edge identity intelligence platforms, biometric databases, and advanced analytics tools that enable fusion across disciplines.

New Skills

By working alongside technical and mission experts, you will build experience in strategic analysis, data integration, and operational planning. You’ll also gain exposure to the broader I2 ecosystem, including doctrine development and acquisition support.
