In support of Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault, we are seeking a Logistics Analyst II with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/ principles/organizational protocols.
A seasoned Logistics Analyst oversees and directs Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) operations to ensure comprehensive and efficient life cycle management of systems and equipment. Advises on ILS element planning and execution to maintain alignment with program requirements, specifications, and industry standards. Utilizes advanced logistics software to analyze models and optimize distribution networks, addressing site selection, resource allocation, inventory management, transportation mode selection, freight consolidation, closed-loop routing, continuous movements, and international shipments. Assesses logistical support sequences, time phasing, and challenges related to operational locations, environmental considerations, and human factors. Provides mentorship and strategic guidance to junior logistics analysts, fostering their professional growth and expertise.
The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support the fielding of Amphibious Combat Vehicle's (ACV)s by executing on-site fielding actions.
- Possess operator and maintainer experience with Assault Amphibious Vehicle (AAV) or ACV operations, along with mechanical expertise.
- Demonstrate proficiency with tools, equipment, support systems, and Technical Manuals (TMs) relevant to ACV and AAV operations—essential for conducting inspections, troubleshooting, installing Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE), and maintaining assets.
- Participate in inventories, equipment inspections, and Limited Technical Inspections (LTI)s, including Stock List Level -3 (SL-3) inventory assessments for damage and completeness. Prepare vehicles for delivery to designated units or facilities.
- Track and update documentation related to equipment turnover from vendors to the Government, ensuring validation of Technical Manuals (TMs).
Education / Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree, along with six (6) years of progressively responsible professional experience in Life-Cycle Logistics planning and management. Candidates must have a minimum of six (6) years of expertise in at least two directly related technological areas, with demonstrated experience across all phases of logistics acquisition and planning. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
