Job Summary
The Department of Surgery in the College of Medicine is seeking a Scientist I.
Our lab focuses on understanding the role of altered metabolism and DNA repair in the development of early onset colorectal cancer. Our goal is to characterize early onset colorectal cancer and determine the mechanism by which early onset colorectal cancer occurs. We utilize a multidisciplinary approach using a combination of cell culture, mouse models, and human tissue to study cell signaling pathways in colon cancer models. The Scientist I will work closely with the Principle Investigator to maintain the lab, perform experiments, and analyze data.
