SALARY:

 

$23.25 - $27.50 per hour. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with OOT Director, Director of Preclinical Education, and Course Directors, in the development, production, administration, and scoring of quizzes and examinations to meet curricular evaluation needs.
  • Assist students with questions about testing and scores and troubleshoot user issues with examination software.
  • Maintain portal information for students regarding posting of grades and dissemination of OOT policies and procedures.
  • Train new Course Directors and other faculty on the exam item submission process and other processes relevant to their respective roles.
  • Provide primary administration for the National Board of Medical Examiners Testing Portal.
  • Assist OOT Director with exam and quiz preparation and security, a task which includes: • a) Assemble exam and quiz questions consistent with Office of Testing Policy deadlines. • b) Prepare draft(s) of exam for review by faculty. • c) Enter questions into examination software with categories to facilitate curriculum mapping and • d) Enter faculty members’ revisions to questions • e) Post final, approved version of exams for student download.
  • Maintain system for secure and confidential storage of student testing materials per FERPA guidelines.
  • Help build a culture that respects, values, and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Other operational and leadership duties as requested by OOT Director.
