Key Responsibilities:
Assist leadman/foreman in the fabrication shop.
Drive shop trucks with a 10,000 lbs trailer.
Complete/conduct Task Hazard Analysis (THA) that adequately identifies and addresses all safety hazards associated with a task.
Perform work independently with minimum supervision.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Assist with lay-out of pile driving/welding operations.
Perform cutting torch and welding activities (combo/structural3G, 4G, etc.)
Clean, lubricate, and maintain driving equipment.
Complete pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Qualifications:
Prior experience with driving forklifts, scissor lifts, and side loader.
Proven commitment to Safety.
Work in an organized manner.
Able to work night shifts when needed.
Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Must be self-motivated and can work well with others.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Abilityto performheavy lifting/pushing/pulling of materialweighing 50 pounds.
Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
Minimum age 18+
Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization.
Desired:
Proficient welding and cutting operations.
Must be comfortable working in outside climate.
Welding experience is a plus.
Previous experience with general labor and operating equipment.
Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, cutting torch, grinders, etc.)
