Overview

IDC is seeking a Change Manager Contractor to support strategic transformation initiatives across the organization.  This role will be responsible for driving change management efforts to ensure successful adoption and sustainability of key projects.  The Change Manager Contractor will partner closely with stakeholders across multiple functions to develop and execute change strategies that align with IDC's business objectives.

 

This is a contract position reporting to the EVP of Transformation Business Operations. 

 

Contract Length: 3 - 4 months. The duration and terms of the contract will be discussed with selected candidates.

 

This contract position will be a remote/hybrid role with a preferred location of Needham, the NYC metropolitan area, or the East Coast.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to drive adoption and minimize resistance.
  • Partner with business leaders, project teams, and key stakeholders to identify change impacts and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop tailored plans for communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead the creation and execution of communication strategies and collateral to keep employees informed and engaged throughout projects and initiatives.
  • Partner with Learning & Development and business SMEs to design and facilitate training programs and materials to support knowledge transfer and adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Develop metrics and tracking mechanisms to measure change adoption, effectiveness, and sustainability.
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders and managers in driving change within their teams.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to change adoption and user engagement


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in change management, transformation, or organizational development roles.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Kotter, ADKAR, etc.).
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience in developing and executing training and communication strategies.
