How you will make an impact:
As a Service Desk Analyst in a currency manufacturing business, you provide essential level 1 and 2 IT support to all associates, ensuring their technical issues are resolved promptly. Your role significantly impacts the productivity of the entire organization by enabling associates to perform their tasks without IT-related disruptions. By efficiently provisioning and supporting IT services, you help maintain smooth operations and minimize downtime. Your expertise and quick problem-solving skills contribute to a reliable and efficient IT environment. Ultimately, your dedication ensures that the business can meet its production goals with minimal technical hindrances.
Create and manage all IT incidents and requests utilizing the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to established SLAs and KPIs.
Provide phone support to all associates, remotely troubleshoot end user inquiries including hardware, software, and telecommunication issues, and escalate tickets when appropriate.
Develop end-user facing knowledge base articles in support of a Self-Service portal and drive the adoption of the portal to promote self-sufficiency among users.
Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts, and participate in asset management efforts of IT equipment and software licensing.
Participate in lean management program activities to document, maintain, and improve IT standard work processes and procedures, ensuring consistent global standards and continuous improvement.
Develop business relationships with all customers to gain their trust and confidence, promoting and educating end users on available technologies.
Participate in assigned audit tasks to maintain a secure and compliant environment, ensuring all activities adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:
Associates Degree or International Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or MIS or commensurate experience.
3+ years experience working in a Customer Service facing role providing IT helpdesk, service desk or desktop support services.
3+ years experience providing IT remote support for Windows based clients in an enterprise environment.
Fluent in English.
Experience providing IT phone support.
Experience supporting and troubleshooting VPN clients and remote connectivity.
Experience creating and managing user accounts in Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
Preferred:
Relevant technical certifications from companies such as Microsoft or CompTIA is a plus
Understanding of ITIL
Consistently seeks to develop self and skills needed to be prepared for future opportunities
Must be motivated, have exceptional interpersonal skills and the desire to provide best in class customer service
Must exhibit a positive attitude and initiative
Ability to work both collaboratively as a team player and independently with moderate supervision
