How you will make an impact:

You will play a pivotal role in a product authentication manufacturing business by ensuring the efficient and secure movement of stock items across various manufacturing units. This role involves receiving and managing deliveries, preparing raw materials, and handling confidential information, which directly impacts the stability and flow of materials in the supply chain. By adhering to safety practices and Lean Manufacturing principles, you will contribute to maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and quality. Your ability to perform routine stock checks, manage documentation, and assist in the fast turnaround of materials ensures that production processes run smoothly and on schedule. Overall, you will support the business's goal of delivering high-quality, secure products by maintaining a well-organized and efficient supply chain.

• Checking, unloading, and loading deliveries safely in the correct defined areas.
• Receiving security material deliveries in a safe and controlled manner.
• Preparing raw materials according to production schedule requirements.
• Performing cyclic counts and routine stock checks.
• Managing necessary documentation for the transportation of goods and assisting with input onto the provided system.
• Working within a systemic delivery schedule ('Milk Run') to allow the flow of material in specific intervals within all manufacturing processes and transporting process waste for destruction as per granulation procedures.
• Loading materials into vehicles and installing strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using appropriate hand tools.
• Maintaining the storage area in a safe, clean, and tidy condition, including the upkeep of the staging area and loading bay, storing and recording packed material for shipment, and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• O level standard of education
• ECDL
• Fork Lift Truck License
  

Preferred:

• Math & English would be preferred
• Knowledge on safety practices
• Previous store keeping experience
