About the role
We are seeking a Sr. Staff Software Engineer to lead automation of mission-critical workflows to enhance scalability and system efficiency of Forterra's corporate systems. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining workflows, automations of business process, scalability of systems and tooling in support of Business and Engineering teams. As an Engineer for business processes, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and require technical expertise in software APIs, Power Automate, scripting and ideally Microsoft 365 GCC High, with a strong knowledge of IT systems and operations.
What you"ll do
- Integrated APIs across business systems, streamlining data interoperability and reporting.
- Automate mission-critical workflows to enhance scalability and system efficiency.
- Develop tooling and access control to support engineering teams.
- Advocate for secure practices throughout Forterra.
- Develop and implement the organization"s automation of mission-critical workflows to enhance scalability and efficiency
- Implement APIs across business systems, streamlining integration and data reporting
- Work across departments to implement tooling and access controls to support the business
- Develop PowerShell solutions to meet business needs and solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices and make recommendations for improving the organization"s security posture

Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years' experience in M365 GCC High is beneficial
- Experience in a start-up or similar fast-paced environment
- Integration of ERP with PLM systems.
- Knowledge of cross team functions like Finance, HR and Operations.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor"s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of PowerShell, Bash, Python and C#
- 8+ years of experience in IT, DevOps, Software Engineering
US Salary Range
$150,000—$180,000
The salary range for this role is an estimate and is based on a wide variety of compensation factors. The salary offered to candidates will vary based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training, critical expertise, training, and more. Equity in Forterra is included in most of our full-time, high-demand roles and is therefore considered part of Forterra's overall compensation package.
