Job Description

Wilshire seeks an experienced HR Generalist Senior Associate with a knack for juggling various HR responsibilities, and a particular strength in DEI, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development to support the growing employee base. The ideal candidate can work independently, adapt to ambiguity, and contribute to our global HR efforts.

What youll do:

  • HR Operations & Compliance
    • Support diverse HR tasks, including staying updated on employment regulations across a variety of jurisdictions
    • Work with outside immigration counsel to support immigration and visa processes
    • Develop, maintain, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with company values
  • Talent Acquisition & Employee Development
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to source, interview, and select top talent
    • Collaborate with third-party vendors and create in-house training resources to design and implement effective learning and development programs that promote skill enhancement and support career progression
    • Assist with the management of the Wilshire mentorship program
    • Contribute to DEI initiatives and support efforts to create an inclusive workplace
  • HR Communications, Analytics, and Transformation
    • Draft and distribute internal HR communications to ensure clear and effective messaging
    • Prepare reports and analyze HR data to inform strategic decision-making
    • Lead project management efforts for key annual HR initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives
    • Support the implementation and integration of AI-driven solutions across the HR team, driving efficiency and innovation in HR processes


Qualifications

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of HR experience, with a proven track record as an HR Generalist or HR Specialist
  • Experience working with a diverse, global workforce, understanding the nuances of HR across different regions
  • Aptitude to thrive in our entrepreneurial culture where change and ambiguity are constants
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems is required; experience with BambooHR and SmartRecruiters is preferred
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.), Talent Development, or Curriculum Design certification preferred
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry or investment management preferred

  • This position will work on a hybrid model out of our Santa Monica office

The pay range for this position is $92,500-$105,000. However, base pay will be determined on an individual basis considering various factors, including location, qualifications, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and a full range of health and financial benefit offerings, which will be provided in conjunction with an offer of employment.
