How you will make an impact:
Your work and day-to-day operations are the heartbeat that keeps the site up and running. Our internal and external customers rely on your skills and experience to troubleshoot and creatively solve challenges that arise within the manufacturing site. Your people skills will help create relationships throughout different teams allowing you to suggest continuous improvement opportunities. You will work on projects that increase the efficiency of our site and help ensure products are delivered safely and on time.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Logistics Coordinator to provide essential support to the department manager and supervisors. This position handles a wide range of responsibilities that are vital to the department's success, including producing reports and maintaining documentation related to production, equipment, training, licensing, certifications, and accounting. The role requires good judgment in solving problems and prioritizing workload while acting as an information resource to mill personnel on matters relating to day-to-day operations of the two raw material mills and transportation warehouse. Additionally, the position provides backup support to the Manufacturing Logistics Coordinator in paper making, which involves managing customer shipments and data tracking, further increasing the complexity and importance of the role.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in administration of office and management/supervisor activities, 5+ years preferred
• Basic knowledge of general office equipment, office procedures and services.
• Proficient and proven competency with personal computers and associated software – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost degree of integrity and discretion.
• Possess competent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of D.O.T. required records, and state and federal highway tax requirements desired.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.
