Responsibilities


  • Plan, design and implement manufacturing improvement processes.
  • Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, work flow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
  • Perform time studies to develop line balancing for the manufacturing line.
  • Create and implement programs for volume demand increases.
  • Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification.
  • Ensure the manufacturability of new and exiting products by participating in the product design and development process.
  • Identify and implement programs to improve the manufacturability and reliability of products.
  • Support manufacturing operations including the training of production operators regarding new equipment/processes.
  • Support installation, qualification, and validation of new and existing equipment and processes.
  • Develop Work Instructions using our PLM Software.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Tools.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 0-2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills with the ability to communicate engineering concepts to non-engineers.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles, practices and techniques.
