Job Summary
UK HealthCare is seeking a STEPS Healthcare Recruiter to assist in identifying talent for our world-class health system thatreflects our values of innovation, respect, compassion, teamwork and diversity. The STEPS Healthcare Recruiter will work with key stakeholders to provide full cycle recruitment support to assigned clinical units or operational areas.

In your daily work you will:

Manage the start-to-finish recruitment process for assigned positions utilizing the applicant tracking system (ATS) (e.g., posting requisitions, managing candidate activities and workflows, scheduling/coordinating interviews, screening applicants, verifying employment eligibility requirements, etc.)
Promote a positive candidate experience including staying in close contact with candidates (e.g., phone calls, emails, in person meetings with new hires as requested, etc.)
Utilize effective sourcing strategies to find and attract passive candidates and build a depth of talent pipelines and pools for assigned positions
Coach facility hiring managers on effective screening and selection techniques
Ensure timely candidate feedback; and strive to create a positive candidate experience, including conducting follow-up calls/surveys
Assist with ad hoc reporting of recruitment activities.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
2 years of recruiting/placement experience in the health care industry or equivalent combination of education and experience a high-volume, fast paced environment.
Excellent communication, written, interpersonal and organization skills with the ability to interact will all levels through the organization. Time management skills and ability to prioritize.
Demonstrated attention to detail. Prior experience with sourcing and recruiting candidates. Ability to generate high volume/high quality candidates under very tight timelines. Ability to be
proactive and to build strong inter-company relationships.
Proficiency in internet, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Experience with recruiting and onboarding nurses
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
