University of Pittsburgh, Ophthalmology Department is searching for a Research Assistant Professor, appointment-stream position. Responsibilities include ensuring the performance of lab projects, including the inner retina function in retinal dystrophies and following treatment, ARPA-H optic nerve regeneration project, the Hillman collaborative project and the optic neuropathies rehabilitation project.

Minimum experience: 10+ years in scientific research with focus on cell culture, CRISOR-Cas9 genome editing, transgenesis, and chromatin analysis, with a focus on understanding and manipulating cellular processes at a molecular level

PhD in Molecular Biology required
