Overview

International Data Corporation (IDC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Transformation Project Manager (Contractor) to support our organization by providing project management across key strategic priorities and initiatives. This role will report to the Director of Transformation Business Operations and will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business process improvements, operational efficiencies, and strategic transformation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, business process re-engineering, and organizational change, with experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects.

 

This is a contract position reporting to the EVP of Transformation Business Operations.  

 

Contract length: 3- 4 months. The duration and terms of the contract will be discussed with selected candidates.

 

This contract position will be a remote/hybrid role with a preferred location of Needham, the NYC metropolitan area or the East Coast.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage transformation projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to define project scope, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Facilitate collaboration among business leaders, subject matter experts, and project teams to drive change and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to enhance project execution and business operations.
  • Ensure stakeholder engagement and adoption of transformation initiatives through change management strategies and effective communication.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.


Qualifications



  • BS/BA in Business, Operations, or a related discipline preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in project management, business transformation, or process improvement.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business process analysis and project management skills.
  • Excellent documentation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across different teams and levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio.
