Summary:

As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in the precise assembly and integration of aerospace components, while ensuring that the finished products meet our quality standards. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should have a good eye for detail and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assemble aerospace components and systems according to engineering specifications and blueprints.

- Read and interpret assembly instructions, schematics, blueprints, and diagrams

- Perform inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

- Utilize precision tools and equipment to align, fit, and install parts and assemblies.

- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve assembly challenges and improve processes.

- Align components and adjust clearances to ensure proper fit

- Utilize inspection equipment and gauges to ensure proper assembly

- Maintain accurate inventory records

- Clean and lubricate parts and assemblies

- Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of work completed.

- Identify and report any discrepancies or defects in components to the appropriate personnel.

- Follow established safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques for aerospace components.

- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

- Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions and work orders with high attention to detail.

- Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in an aerospace manufacturing setting.

- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

- Required: Compliant with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S. Person status (ITAR defines “U.S. Person” as a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.)


Educational Qualification:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in aerospace or related field is a plus.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace assembly or a similar manufacturing environment.
