IAM Administrator
The IAM (Identity and Access Management) Administrator is responsible for the management and oversight of user identities and access permissions within Group O?s IT infrastructure. This role ensures the right individuals have access to the right resources at the right times for the right reasons. The IAM Administrator plays a critical role in enhancing security, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, security awareness, and strong people skills to effectively manage and optimize the organization's identity and access management processes. They will be initiative-taking and dependable professional, dedicated to enhancing the security and operational efficiency of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and deactivation of user accounts and profiles across various systems and applications.
- Implement and manage access control policies and procedures to ensure proper user access levels and permissions.
- Maintain and support authentication systems, including single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.
- Manage user Office 365 licenses, create and manage external collaboration settings in Azure Active Directory, manage external user accounts.
- Implement and manage the Group O user risk, sign-in, and MFA registration policies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to identity and access management. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement automated workflows to streamline IAM processes and improve efficiency.
- Work with the IT team and other business leaders to document, develop and manage third party application identities.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance related to IAM issues. Collaborate with IT and security teams to resolve access-related problems.
- Review, manage, and audit permission escalation requests, privileged accounts, and supplier account requests.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of IAM policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation for IAM processes and provide training to end-users and internal teams on IAM practices.
- Work with the Infosec and Quality teams on identity and access management compliance reports and evidence collection.
- Assist the Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) with investigations.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years' experience or education in information technology
- Microsoft Certified Identity and Access Administrator (must be willing and able to obtain in the first year of employment).
- Basic understanding of Payment Card Data Security Standard and ISO 27001 compliance requirements as it relates to access management.
- Strong experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Office 365.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Experience managing users and groups in an enterprise organization.
- Basic understanding of information security risk.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security + , CISSP, ITIL)
- Process oriented, ability to identify, develop and provide recommendations to improve information security process and procedures as it relates to access management.
