How you will make an impact:

You will play a critical role in a product authentication manufacturing business by ensuring the availability and functionality of essential machine parts. By manufacturing replacement parts for stock holding or direct installation, you help maintain the operational efficiency and reliability of production machinery. Adherence to Lean Manufacturing principles and compliance with safety and ethical guidelines further enhance the quality and security of the manufacturing process. You will assist with breakdowns and maintain a clean, organized workshop environment, support continuous production and minimizes downtime. You will be part of a team sustaining high standards of product quality and operational excellence in the manufacturing business.

• Manufacture replacement parts for stock holding or direct installation on machine.
• Maintain machinery and tools and ensure workshop and area is clean and tidy.
• Completes paperwork, dockets and records labour hours and materials on manufacturing replacement parts.
• To understand the principles and comply with practices of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and Continuous Improvement.
• To always act and behave in a way compliant with all company guidelines and policies, especially those relating to. Environmental Health and Safety, ethics and codes of conduct.
  

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• HTD in engineering
• 3 years’ workshop experience
• ECDL
