Required License/Registration/Certification
Kentucky State Radiation Operators License + American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT RT) + Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire; plus Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) and Certified EKG Technician (CET) within 6 months of hire
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to regularly lift, push, and/or pull objects weighing up to and over 50 lbs.; occasionally stand or walk with objects weighing up to 25 lbs.; regularly perform tasks requiring repetitive motions; and occasionally sit at a computer workstation for an extended period of time.
Shift
Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00am – 5:30pm; Monday – Friday; call coverage required including weekends and holidays.
Job Summary
EP Technologist will demonstrate knowledge of Adult and Pediatric Electrophysiology procedures. Technologist will scrub/assist the physician during EP cases as well as pull supplies and procedural room set-up. The technologist is also able to record and monitor procedures and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamic measurements. Technologist will provide adequate call coverage per departmental need.

Preferred Cardiac Cath/EP experience but any rad tech experience is acceptable.
