Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic HR Solution Center Manager responsible for the daily operations of our HR Solution Center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused HR services to faculty, staff, students, and retirees. This role is pivotal in driving HR service excellence and operational efficiency within a major research university and UK HealthCare.
The HR Solution Center Manager will lead a team of HR professionals to address complex HR issues, and implement strategies to enhance the overall employee experience while maintaining compliance and managing risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the HR Solution Center team to provide exceptional service and support.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and procedures to drive operational efficiency.
- Resolve complex HR inquiries and issues, ensuring compliance with employment laws and institutional policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the university including UK HealthCare to enhance HR service delivery.
- Utilize HR technology and data analytics to improve processes and inform strategic decision-making.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and employee engagement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- HR experience in a higher education or healthcare environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, relationship management, and service center operations.
- Experience leading HR teams, driving efficiency, and implementing strategic HR initiatives.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and process automation tools.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
