Job Overview
The Program Director Nursing Initiatives position oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing-focused programs within Health Services, aiming to improve patient care quality, staff satisfaction, and clinical outcomes by leading strategic initiatives, collaborating with nursing leadership, and managing program budgets and operations. This leadership position oversees, directs, and participates in daily functions, operations, projects, and activities of Nursing Services, including short- and long-term planning, development, and administration of program policies, procedures, and services. This position assists the Assistant Vice President of Nursing Services in various administrative, coordinative, analytical, and liaison capacities. Responsibilities include performing diverse, specialized, and complex work involving significant accountability and decision-making responsibility.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
Master’s degree in nursing, Health Care Management, or business administration preferred.
Registered Nurse with a current California State Board of Nursing License.
Minimum of 8 years of Registered Nursing experience is required.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
Ambulatory care nursing experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
BLS certification for Healthcare Providers is required
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Compensation
$163,363.20 - $204,214.40 annuallyCompensation Disclaimer
Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change.
