Description
The Health & Civil Sector is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Global Supply Chain (GSC) Intern to support our Sector Supply Chain team and assist in day-to-day subcontract management activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations while engaging with cross-functional partners such as Legal, Contracts, and Finance & Business Operations. The intern will contribute to streamlining and improving Sector GSC best practices, particularly where input from non-GSC functions is critical.
Key Responsibilities
· Shadow Subcontracts Professionals and assist in subcontract management tasks, including documentation, supplier due diligence, vetting, and onboarding, compliance checks, supplier communications and collaboration
· Participate in internal and external collaboration efforts supporting subcontract execution and oversight.
· Support process improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining Global Supply Chain practices.
· Coordinate with Legal, Contracts, and Finance & Business Operations to facilitate cross-functional alignment and input.
· Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and analyses to support supply chain decision-making.
· Attend team meetings, supplier discussions, and cross-functional working sessions.
· Perform ad hoc assignments and administrative tasks to support the Subcontracts and broader GSC team.

What Sets You Apart (basic qualifications):
· Must have an average 3.0 GPA and above
· Strong writing and Oral communication skills
· Ability to effectively reason through tasks and decisions
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
· Available to up to 40 hours per week
· Available to support on-site engagements at our Reston, VA, Gaithersburg, MD, or Oak Ridge, TN facilities
· US Citizenship is required
