DHL currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Data analyst intern as part of the Gateways Operation for Americas team. The Data Analyst prepares, analyzes and reports critical data for the Operation of Gateways across the Americas Region, also developing new automated reports and tools to support process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides analytical support in the development of Gateway and Customs operations efficiency projects (collect, analyze, identify patterns and trends in data sets)
• Supports with data and presentations for the operational performance reviews.
• Performs deep analysis of Gateway processes, checkpoint compliance and business rules
• Develop ad-hoc analysis to find improvement opportunities, visualization, root cause identification, on business indicators and processes.
• Develop new tools or improve exiting tools and reports gathering data from DHL systems.
• Assists in performing user acceptance testing for Clearance application

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and advanced knowledge of MSExcel and MS Access.
• Interest in logistics operations and processes automation.
• Results oriented with a strong focus on high quality service performance across different locations with diverse conditions.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or Economics, Data science).
• Extensive knowledge in Power BI
• Creative and open mindset.
• Python is a must
• Problem solving skills

Additional Information:

• Schedule will be Monday – Friday from 8:30AM-5:00 PM based in Plantation, FL
