IT Service Support Analyst:

Job Purpose: In this entry-level role, you will provide exceptional technical support to our users. You'll diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, with a strong emphasis on network troubleshooting, while also assisting with maintaining and monitoring our critical IT infrastructure. Your strong communication skills will be essential as you ensure our users have the tools and resources they need to be productive.

Responsibilities:

  • Network troubleshooting experience, You will diagnose and resolve a wide range of user-reported network connectivity and performance issues.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by leveraging effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of hardware and software issues, repairs, and installations.
  • Assist with user onboarding and provide clear, concise training on IT systems and procedures.
  • Monitor and test IT asset performance, generate comprehensive reports, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in the development of long-term IT hardware strategies and capacity planning initiatives.
  • Analyze computer products, support the procurement process, and stay current on emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams (including vendors) to resolve complex IT issues.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation according to established standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role (e.g., Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician).
  • A certification in Cisco (CCNA).
  • Very good English language skills are required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Active listening and questioning skills to effectively understand user needs.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in IT customer support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• The role is customer-facing and requires a strong customer service orientation. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of IT customer support and experience in supporting XML, Java, J2EE, Web based application, and Database platform.
