Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Director, Regional OE Data Strategy, Operational Analytics and Performance Management for the APAC Operations Excellence team to lead the strategic oversight of DSC APAC Operational Analytics and Performance Management, developing and implementing comprehensive strategies while collaborating with APAC businesses to drive regional initiatives and deploy best practices. This role involves advancing the analytics program by defining and deploying initiatives within DSC APAC operations, working closely with APAC countries and functional heads on a daily basis, and coordinating with global data strategy and analytics teams. Additionally, this role will provide expert support in processes, tools, and facilitation to foster growth in the APAC region.

 

  • Deliver value-added analytics products to the DSC APAC business by identifying and defining use cases, supporting the IT analytics team in R&D, and leading the deployment of developed products, including collaboration on AI products as needed

  • Drive talent management for Business Data Analytics careers in DSC APAC, focusing on recruitment, development, and retention to establish the region as a career destination

  • Identify, create, and deliver best practices for operational data analytics, co-driving large continuous improvement projects with the OE OMS team, consolidating PowerBI applications, and ensuring best practice sharing for enhanced visibility and data-driven decision-making

 

Performance Management

  • Promote cross-functional adoption of the MRP process through DPM and OEPM
  • Represent regional LOGICS requirements as the APAC LOGICS Lead
  • Own and manage OE Performance Management, including LOGICS Business Metrics and Operations Profile & Planning module
  • Ensure MDM Facility domain awareness and adherence within the region

Data Strategy

  • Drive the regional data strategy, including the roadmap for data product development and data quality initiatives.
  • Contribute to defining and driving the adoption of operational data standards.
  • Lead efforts to enhance data literacy within the OE organization and Operations.

Operations Analytics

  • Identify operational business opportunities to address through analytics.
  • Engage stakeholders to enable effective change management and drive the rollout of operations analytics products at scale.
  • Establish an OE Analytics network across the region to support digital transformation and leverage analytics opportunities.

Project Management and Leadership

  • Lead planning and implementation of data analytics projects in partnership with the IT analytics team
  • Develop measurement tools to assess value and operational impact, ensuring global alignment
  • Manage resources to maximize efficiency and reduce redundancy across sectors and products
  • Directly oversee a Center of Excellence (CoE) Data Analytics team and support regional performance management staff
  • Provide subject matter expertise in data analytics and performance management
  • Proactively inform leadership of project progress and present value to stakeholders at all levels.

 

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in Operational Excellence, focusing on performance management and business analysis, preferably in Logistics.
  • 5+ years of project/program management experience in a Distribution/Fulfillment environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of fulfillment industry processes and processing/packaging equipment.
  • Proficient in report writing and effective communication with customers and regulatory agencies, suitable for presentations to senior management.
  • Strong mathematical skills to support operational duties.
  • Ability to provide technical direction and interpret specifications for teams.
  • Capable of simplifying complex solutions for customer and executive presentations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven project management capabilities.
  • Experience leading and managing cross-country, multicultural teams (essential).
  • Wider regional experience is a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or other advanced degree; or related experience preferred
