Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum + car + potential bonus

Location: Northampton, hybrid approach. (2-3 days in the office)

Are you ready to lead and transform the procurement landscape for police uniforms and equipment? We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team, driving strategic direction and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Spearhead the procurement strategy for a high value annual contract, ensuring compliance and excellence in sourcing.
• Lead the procurement & design and technical teams to ensure high-quality products meet PPE regulations.
• Build strong customer facing relationships with excellence at the forefront
• Lead a team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

• Ensure that DHL demonstrates innovation and generates opportunities to supply innovative value for money products

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Proven leadership experience in procurement, particularly in complex environments.
• Strong customer-facing skills, with a knack for effective communication and problem-solving.
• Preferably, experience gained within a product wholesaler or manufacturer
• Preferably experience and knowledge within public sector organisations
• CIPS qualification required; MCIPS preferred.
