WSB is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer with at least 7 years of experience in watershed modeling, pond design, stormwater systems planning and design, water quality, and general stormwater management to join our team! You will contribute to the company, our clients, and their constituents by delivering on the following:

What You Will Do:

• Maintain up to date status reporting and tracking on all aerial surveying and mapping projects

• Perform QAQC on deliverables in accordance with applicable standards

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during data processing

• Develop new workflows and processes based on industry best practices

• Evaluate current workflows and processes, and make recommendations for improving efficiency

• Manage data in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Provide training and mentoring to staff

• Perform airborne GNSS/INS trajectory post-processing

• Perform relative and absolute adjustments to lidar data

• Generate data deliverables using various software platforms (ex. point clouds, orthomosaics, DEM’s, contour/planimetric maps, reports, etc.)

• Perform related duties as needed

• Able to effectively lead a team to achieve project requirements and meet deadlines

• Maintain detailed tracking of multiple concurrent projects and deadlines

• Able to prioritize projects and delegate tasks within a team

• Able to understand project requirements and develop scopes of work

• Aid in hiring new team members

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Geospatial Sciences (GIS, Engineering, Surveying, or related field)

• 7+ years of experience in a Geospatial related field

• Previous experience leading teams and managing projects

• ASPRS Certifications are a plus

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Strong conceptual understanding of sources of potential error in airborne lidar and imagery datasets

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong understanding of industry standards (ASPRS, USGS, etc.) and best practices

• Proficient in using point cloud processing software (TerraScan, StripAlign, etc.)

• Proficient in using photogrammetry software (Agisoft MetaShape, TerraPhoto, etc.) Proficient in using GIS software platforms (Global Mapper, ArGIS, etc.)

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
