Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the integration and testing of systems & subsystems. Manage and coordinate integration efforts between Public Safety IT subsystems and the NG9-1-1 system. 
  • Lead technical discussions in integration planning and manage associated action items.  
  • Assisting in coordination with project leads and subcontractors to continue review of all required interfaces with the NG9-1-1 system. 
  • Lead efforts to analyze data to spot anomalies, trends and correlate similar data sets. 
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders by providing education, guidance, input, and initiatives to support project work. 
  • Develop project reporting dashboards to support project updates and readouts.  
  • Project meeting facilitation and support, taking and distributing minutes, and tracking action items and decisions with project team members. 
  • Gather status on tasks, capture risks, issues, action items, and update plans, and project documentation. 
  • Monitor tasks, track project milestones and take action to ensure project deadlines are met. 
  • Escalate project risks and issues and work with project team on solutions where applicable. 
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards. 
  • Additional project tasks and duties as required. 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in task management and project status reporting 
  • 911 call flow understanding 
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, planning skills 
  • Ability to prioritize and escalate where appropriate. 
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed environment 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Quality orientation with a strong eye for detail. 
  • Competency with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Powerpoint, Sharepoint 
  • Experience with collaboration-based (social) project management tools is desired  

Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree or three years of 911 systems experience.  
  • Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) experience desired 
  • Two (2) years of project coordination experience on complex projects desired.
