About the Role

Fivetran is hiring a Commercial Account Executive to accelerate our growth across the UK and Ireland mid-market. This is a high-impact role where youll drive strategy, execution, and results in one of our most mature, high-opportunity markets.

Were looking for someone commercially sharp, driven, and execution-focused someone who sees clear demand and competitive advantage as a platform for success. Youll join a team of high-performing AEs who consistently hit target, in a company backed by the best in tech and on a clear path to IPO, in one of the fastest-growing spaces: the modern data stack.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Dublin office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What Youll Do

  • Own a defined territory in the UK&I Commercial segment, focusing on organisations with 12000 employees
  • Build and close a strong pipeline of high-value SaaS deals with a wide range of customers and industries
  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, building long-term relationships that drive adoption and expansion
  • Partner with global channel organisations to develop opportunities and scale your reach
  • Guide new customers through onboarding, ensuring long-term success and retention

Skills We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of SaaS sales experience, ideally in a high-growth environment
  • Previous business development experience essential
  • A consistent record of overachievement and ability to drive net-new business
  • Experience owning a full sales cycle and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of solution selling and how to map product value to customer pain
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • A growth mindset coachable, collaborative, and motivated by both individual and team success

Bonus Skills

  • Proven success closing SaaS contracts in the $100k$200k ARR range
  • Familiarity with cloud data infrastructure, analytics, or integration tools
  • Experience working with or through partners such as Snowflake, dbt, or SI consultancies
  • Understanding of the UK mid-market landscape and how to engage technical and business buyers
