ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: 

Comtech Systems, Inc (CSI) is looking for Test Engineer candidates who will perform RF tests on satellite system components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies. Candidates will be expected to work with a spirit of cooperation and must exhibit a tenacious work ethic while possessing the drive and critical thinking to excel in potentially tumultuous conditions.

• Must have an active, current Secret Clearance.

PRIMARY DUTIES: 

All candidates will perform the following duties: 

• Create test plans, test cases, and test procedures to validate/verify performance.  
• Conduct functional, regression, and acceptance tests.  
• Create automated tools to characterize system performance and verify functionality.  
• Validate automated tools quality assurance and maintain proper version control.

SKILLS REQUIRED: 

All candidates will have the following minimum skills: 

• Four (4) years of recent specialized experience in engineering and testing integration. 
• Have basic Government Computer (GC) connectivity troubleshooting skills.
• Have network troubleshooting skills and knowledge of networks.
• Have technical documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with diverse audiences, internally and externally to foster strong teamwork. 
• Work well independently or as a member of a team environment 
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.  

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. 

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

• Certified Engineer
