Job Title: Human Resources Administrative Assistant

Location: Columbus Foundry – Aludyne
Reports to: HR Manager


Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic and organized HR Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day HR functions at our Columbus Foundry. This individual will assist in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance, playing a key role in cultivating a positive and productive workplace culture.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment processes including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding, orientation, and training coordination.
  • Maintain employee records in HRIS and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support administration of employee benefits programs and open enrollment.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Help implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with company guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Assist with time and attendance tracking and payroll preparation.
  • Support engagement initiatives and employee recognition programs.


Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws (FMLA, FLSA, EEO, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, UKG).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
