Location: Sacramento, CA

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Subject to change based on business needs)
• Weekly Starting Pay: $21.30/hour

A Day in the Life:

Our Dispatcher will coordinate and delegate what is needed for the work day which would include forecasting for upcoming needs.

• Create route efficiencies and route sequencing.
• Ensure that all customer requests, concerns and/or complaints are handled timely and efficiently.
• Ensure that all internal employee requests, concerns and/or complaints are handled timely and efficiently.
• Ability to maintain safety standards and regulations as established and required by federal, state, and company policy.
• Forecast and communicate upcoming equipment needs.
• Data entry (Compile and distributing efficient data).
• Continually improve route efficiencies through route maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have general geographical knowledge. In addition, the Dispatcher position will be responsible for the following duties:

• This person must understand routing and be able to route both pick-up/delivery drivers and route drivers
• Have geographical knowledge of the area you are applying for
• Continually improve route efficiencies to established goals by daily pinning and sequencing the routes and coordinating with the mapping department
• Computer aptitude: Outlook, Excel, etc.
