Are you ready to shape the future of logistics? Join our Trade Team in Southampton as a Load Planner, where you'll plan routes, ensuring our drivers are set for success!

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Strategically plan and optimize delivery routes for the Trade Team drivers two days in advance to ensure timely and efficient operations.
• Utilize Excel and DIPS software to analyze data, manage schedules, and create effective route plans that enhance productivity.
• Receive full training to develop your skills in load planning, while leveraging your existing computer proficiency to excel in the role.
• Work closely with drivers and other team members to ensure seamless operations and address any logistical challenges that may arise.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Strong competency in using Excel and familiarity with DIPS software to manage data and create effective route plans.
• Previous experience in logistics or load planning is preferred, showcasing an ability to optimize operations.
• Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions that enhance delivery efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with drivers and team members, ensuring clarity and coordination in planning efforts.
