JOB DESCRIPTION

The Shared Data Platforms Lead Application Developer role plays a strategic part in solutioning, architecting, designing, hands-on developing and leading the integration of their respective in-house applications, databases, and systems with third-party applications. They will use their extensive expertise in programming languages, tools, and delivery models, in conjunction with their methodology expertise to collaborate with various stakeholders and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and solutions. This role requires an expert understanding of programming languages, tools, and delivery models, as well as the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. The incumbent will manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, including project teams, business analysts, and end-users, to ensure the development process is running smoothly. Ultimately, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's software applications are effective, efficient, and provide a seamless experience for the end-users.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the process of analyzing system requirements by providing guidance on translating requirements into software programming specifications and mentoring the team of engineers
  • Oversee and lead the development, coding, integration, testing, and debugging of software applications using current programming languages, while also leveraging the expertise of the team members and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Drive the creation of detailed and user-friendly documentation such as Solution Document, Architecture Document, Design Document and procedures for the installation and maintenance of software, ensuring all best practices are being followed by the team and with high sense of urgency where required.
  • Drive strategies to manage and facilitate collaboration and communication with various stakeholders such as users, developers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of products and solutions.
  • Encouraging the adoption of emerging technologies and programming languages that strategically align with the organization's overall technology roadmap and objectives

This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H-1B visa.

This position is eligible to work in the office three days a week and has the option to work remotely two days a week.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Required
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or a related field and at least 12 years of experience in the field of Information Technology
  • Preferred
    • Experience in implementing and supporting Customer Master Data Management technologies

Skills and Experience

  • Required
    • At least 12 years of experience in software development, specifically in application development and Master data management domains
    • Expertise in programming languages such as PL/SQL, Java, SQL, XML, Python, or Ruby
    • Lead development team and having outstanding technical skills in integration technologies, APIs, and web services
    • Experience in providing technical direction and guidance to the team by conducting code reviews
    • Experience in the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level architecture (preferably, both on-prem and cloud)
    • Expertise in agile methodologies and SDLC
    • Experience in domain driven design in a distributed service environment
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Expertise in workflow design, configuration, data management through informatica IDMC
