Position Description

Job Purpose


This position is responsible for overseeing the successful integration of systems within our organization. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing the entire lifecycle of integration projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, allocating resources, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that system integration projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all specified requirements. As a System Integration Project Manager, you will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, resolving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle and ensuring operational efficiency and productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Essential duties and other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Plan and execute system integration projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that goals and objectives are met within the set timelines and budget constraints.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including work breakdown structures and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify integration needs to align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Create detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resources required for successful project implementation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to integrate various systems, including ERPs, CRMs, and third-party applications.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks that may arise, and ensure timely and effective communication of project updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, develop contingency plans, and escalate critical issues to senior management when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with project management best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the success of integration projects and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in system integration to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled, and resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing system integration projects, preferably in a complex organizational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of system integration principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based integration platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Relevant certifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2, are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to system integration is a plus.
