Rapid Response Clinician:
Provide assessment and brief treatment and linkage to appropriate treatment services for children/adolescents and families impacted by crime. Maintain strong relationships with judicial, police, hospital, child welfare, and domestic violence shelters. Upon referral, respond to family within the expected time limit. The clinician is responsible for participating in reflective group supervision weekly and maintaining clinical documentation according to licensing, accreditation, Medicaid, Child FIRST and OVS requirements. Participate in community meetings such as Hartford Multidisciplinary Team. Maintain a strong current knowledge base of services and support available within the community including the availability of appropriate Evidenced Based Treatment Models.
Annual salary starts at $54,000 for license eligible clinicians and $67,200 for licensed clinicians.
JOB SUMMARY
The Clinician provides direct services to clients, in the office, school, or other identified setting to meet the unique needs of families served. Unlicensed clinicians are hired prior to obtaining their license to practice as mental health practitioners (i.e., psychology, social work, LMFT, LPC, LADC). Unlicensed clinicians will receive supervision by a licensed clinician and may be offered training opportunities. When eligible, all unlicensed clinicians are expected to obtain licensure to be considered for ongoing employment at The Village.
