Overview

Lutron has an immediate need for aSenior Retail Display & Packaging Designerto join the Communications team at our Conshohocken office location. In this role, you will support the creative development and execution of in-store displays and product packaging. As an expert in retail display and packaging design, you’ll lead the creative development of innovative, sustainable in-store displays and packaging solutions that enhance brand visibility and drive consumer engagement. To succeed, you must exhibit outstanding design skills and be able to work collaboratively with the program manager and creative team to build market-leading outputs. 



Responsibilities

  • Create compelling point-of-purchase displays and merchandising solutions that maximize product visibility and drive brand identity
  • Oversee project workflow, ensuring quality and on-time delivery
  • Conceptualize and develop retail packaging designs that balance aesthetic appeal, brand identity, and practical functionality
  • Collaborate with creative team, marketing, product development, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet business objectives and production requirements
  • Develop comprehensive design systems that maintain brand consistency across various product lines
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final designs
  • Stay current with industry trends, sustainable materials, and innovative display technologies
  • Mentor junior designers and provide creative direction on packaging projects 


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00
  • 10+ years of experience in retail display and packaging design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful retail consumer projects preferred
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D rendering software
  • Knowledge of printing processes, materials, finishes, and structural packaging design
  • Deep understanding of retail environments and consumer behavior
  • Experience with sustainable packaging solutions and eco-friendly materials
