The Administrative Coordinator position is open in our Murrieta location and surrounding areas. This is a Full-time position during our day shift from 8:00am-5:00pm.


  • Requirements of the Administrative Coordinator:
5 years of experience in coordinating office operations in a healthcare setting. Degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment. Ability to meet deadlines.Demonstrated advanced computer and data entry skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs. EMR experience is preferred.


Administrative Coordinator Duties Include:

  • Ensure CTIs (Certificate of Terminal Illness) are signed, returned on time, and properly checked into the back-office activity schedule.
  • Track Face-to-Face (F2F) visits and ensure that MD notes are properly attached to attestations in myUnity. Complete non-clinical DNT Orders as required.
  • Validate Admission / HUV / DC HOPE tools and submit timely.
  • Send MediCal letters and consents to appropriate recipients in a timely manner.
  • Input data into and maintains current Incident/Infection control logs.
  • Create/Compile various periodic reports as assigned by Leadership.
  • ACCP - track enrollment by CM and ER/hospitalizations.
  • Medical Records: Process and track medical record and Lavanta documentation requests. Maintenance of Iron Mountain stored records and logs.
  • Maintain emergency patient information and rosters in the shared drive
  • Submit Hospice Item Set (HIS) documentation timely.
  • Follow up on medication errors in coordination with the appropriate departments.
  • Coordinate placement and schedules for RN students.
  • Provide backup support for HHVI and Insurance Verification/Authorization process.
  • Assist with McKesson supply reconciliation and billing.
  • Assist Regional Director with evaluating clerical/admin areas for improvement and works cooperatively with Leadership team to implement new/improved processes for the Agency.
