The Coteau Properties Company is looking for talented heavy equipment operators to join our award-winning team at the Freedom Mine. The Coteau Properties Company, a subsidiary of North American Coal Corporation, operates the Freedom Mine, the largest lignite surface coal mine in the United States with large electric draglines, loading shovels, and coal preparation facilities located north of Beulah, North Dakota. Here, we empower each and every employee with safety at the forefront of everything we do. Job Description: Applicants must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be team oriented. They must be willing to work 12-hour shift work and be eager to accept responsibility and challenge. We offer a competitive salary starting at $49.68/hour and a medical benefits package for seasonal employees, including 401K options. Eligible benefits are effective on the first day of employment. Heavy equipment experience on track dozer or rubber-tired dozer is most preferred, however, experience on any of the following equipment would also qualify: Tractor Scraper Coal Hauler Water Truck Motor Grader Off Road End Dump Trucks Loader The position closes May 28, 2025.
