Maintenance Coordinator
Processes and assigns all facilities management, maintenance, and departmental work requests
by:
• Entering requests into databases with all pertinent information
• Prioritizing requests based on schedules
• Assigning requests to appropriate trade or engineer
• Monitoring completion of requests
• Serves as the initial point of contact for facilities management dispatch by answering all calls;
serves customers by answering inquiries and resolving issues.
• Works with related personnel to schedule installations and other related jobs requiring the
coordination of external stakeholders.
• Manages emergency maintenance requests by contacting appropriate trade immediately and
ensuring action is taken.
• Prepares maintenance logs and routine reports documenting work requests.
Routine problem solving is required, generally guided by policies, procedures and business plans.? Decisions outside of standard policies are referred to a higher-level manager.
Processes and assigns all facilities management, maintenance, and departmental work requests and serves as initial point of contact for dispatch services. Facilitates emergency management requests and documents work requests.
Must have prior computer data entry experience and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. This position requires a high-level organization and the ability to coordinate tasks and records. Minimum 3 years customer service experience, knowledge of how to operate a multiline telephone, and
operate 2-way radios.
Lift push or pull ten pounds or more. This is a sedentary position.
