Responsibilities

 

  • WMS Development and Maintenance:
    • Collaborate with third-party vendors to maintain and iterate on a robust WMS as it develops through its integration lifecycle.
    • Develop strong understanding of internal warehouse operations to aid in thoughtful development and expertise in the WMS system.
    • Ensure seamless operation of the WMS to ensure operational up time and efficiency.
    • Conduct regular system audits and optimizations to improve and expand system functionality.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Basic knowledge of coding languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Java) to help understand and troubleshoot any issues.
    • Implement ETL processes to ensure accurate data migration and transformation.
    • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and technological advancements.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead WMS-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party vendors for WMS and DOM systems.
    • Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual agreements.
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between vendors and internal teams.
  • Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to warehouse staff and other users of the WMS.
    • Develop and maintain user manuals and training materials.
    • Address and resolve technical issues promptly.

 



Qualifications



 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years proven experience in operations management, systems integration, and warehouse management systems.
  • Knowledge in coding languages such as SQL, Python, and Java.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and data management.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
