Job Overview
Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, the Software Engineer I Interactive will be responsible for designing, maintaining, documenting, and testing computer software in an agile SCRUM development environment. In this position the engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining Interactive game clients used to run on Desktops and mobile devices.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop features and modules using company's coding standards while applying industry design principles and patterns
  • Utilizes technical Knowledge to write and complete software tasks and projects
  • Troubleshoots issues that occur with integration of complex software
  • Debug various modules to find the root cause of an issue/s using various tools not limited to code analysis, performance profiling and propose a viable solution in acceptable timeline
  • Test the software modules using either automated or manual tests
  • Integrate software while working with other stake holders
  • Provide post release assistance to technical support teams
  • Maintain software by adding features or redesigning existing ones using new technologies
  • Create and maintain documentation for the Products
Skills/Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of TypeScript and Pixi.js
  • Understanding of 2D animation tools, Spine experience would be beneficial
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Experience using Bug-tracking tools and source code control
  • Experience of automated build tools and CDN technologies
  • Must be a team player and be able to work in a customer-oriented & fast-paced environment
  • Gaming experience, a plus
