DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the daily operations of the service center. Manage the warehouse and delivery functions for the assigned territory to obtain optimum use of facilities, equipment and personnel.
- Establish strong and collaborative relationships, ensure effective leadership to department personnel, proactively and positively communicate, and enable an exceptional working experience.
- Support the growth and success of the company by delivering people and culture strategies that align with our vision and values.
- Promote a culture of safety and maintain a safe working environment by continuous enforcement and evaluation of process, equipment, guidelines, and SOPs.
- Develop, direct, and control the operating budget at lowest cost while achieving best-in-class service and systems; implement innovative technology, processes, and procedures that will foster improvement of CBC operations and service.
- Ensure optimization of department technology and tools to deliver performance data to drive key decisions.
- Implement processes and plans to achieve department deliverables; develop and implement productivity standards and goals in support of budget.
- Collaborate with department managers to forecast demand, manage inventory, and optimize delivery routes.
- Provide direct on-site leadership to all service center personnel and represent the executive team during all on-site audits, emergencies, projects, and concerns for the service center. Work with department managers to ensure effectiveness of personnel, compliance with company policies, and maintenance of the building and fleet.
- Identify and measure KPIs and partner with VP of Operations and Business Analytics on focus areas.
- Responsible for preparation and achievement of budget; recommend capital expenditures for new equipment to meet safety and productivity goals.
- Champion continuous improvement and ensure implementation and compliance with TWI and other training and development initiatives.
- Lead or support company projects as assigned.
- Possess the ability to drive, valid driver’s license, and a driving record compliant with company standards.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Possess education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, supply chain or related field plus 5 years of experience in the supply chain function with emphasis on logistics, warehouse, and procurement; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Possess strong project management skills with ability to plan tasks, assign resources, manage processes, remove barriers, manage change, resolve conflict, build consensus, and motivate team members.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with route accounting systems, and strong technology aptitude with ability to become proficient with WMS and routing software.
- Possess the ability to maintain regular and punctual in-person attendance to lead the service center team.
- Possess a ABC sales permit for beer and wine.
- Possess the ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage 2-3 subordinate department managers. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Perform management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
